Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded S/W Engineer Level 4 for an opening in Orlando, FL.

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for software developers with a good understanding of software architecture and detailed design to model multiple embedded software applications (OFP - Operational Flight Programs). An uderstanding of modern modeling tools based on UML (Cameo/Magic Draw or Rhapsody) is required to be successful.

This position is part of the client's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Digital Transformation (DX) Program. DX is challenged with developing the next generation Digital Engineering solutions for reducing costs and seamlessly moving work across Design, Build, and Sustainment activities within the Business area and across the Enterprise.

REQUIREMENTS:
Agile Software Development methodologies Architecture and Requirements documentation Architecture design of embedded real-time software C++ 11 or greater Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Issue tracking and task management tools Linux OS Modeling of Software Architecture with tools like (Cameo, Rhapsody, SysML) Software configuration management / source code versioning tools Software Development and Detailed Design Experience Software requirements development and traceability Unified Modeling Language (UML)

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field with significant software development experience.
