Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technician for an opening in Littleton/Waterton, CO

Working from engineering drawings, written work instructions and process specifications, employee will assemble structural and precision mechanical components in a shop environment. Tasks will include but are not limited to:
-Installation and torquing of fasteners, drilling, installation of rivets, adhesive bonding, measurement and shimming interfaces to close tolerances
-Aerospace paint, aerospace primer and other aerospace coating application using spray, brush, swab techniques.
-Surface prep, using grit blast, hand abrade and power abrasion techniques
-Pre-prep and wet layup fabrication techniques, including vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing
-Tooling fabrication from various materials such as aluminum, composites, and wood
-Working with small shop power tools (saws, routers, sanders, and grinders)
-Machine shop equipment operation (mill, lathe, table saw, band saw, etc.)
-Assembly of composite structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applications
-Operation of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and torque wrenches

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
