- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Los Angeles, CA.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Required Knowledge/Experience:Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
-Analytical skills, including research, ability to interpret data, and ability to analyze information.
-Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
-Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
-Ability to handle, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet all deadlines.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Proven knowledge of standard payroll concepts, practices, and procedures.
-Strong knowledge in multi-state payroll.
Assist with the preparation and processing of weekly accounting for multiple companies with multi-state reporting.
Responsibilities:
-Monitor submission of timesheets to ensure completion and review accuracy of approved timesheets.
-Assist with processing payroll and submitting payroll reports
-Assist with processing all special payroll deductions such as garnishments and benefit adjustments in an accurate and timely manner.
-Process accurate and timely year-end reporting.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School/GED.
SHIFT:
5 Days/40 Hrs. Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
