Chipton-Ross is seeking a Laboratory Technician for an opening in Huntsville, AL
Directly support testing for Engineering and Operations, including non-metallic material preparation using a compression molding press, mechanical testing using an Instron load frame and Bluehill Universal test software, and elastomeric testing using a Moving Die Rheometer and Mooney Viscometer.
-Sample preparation may include mounting and polishing non-metallic materials for imaging via Optical Microscope or Scanning Electron Microscope.
Experience working in a laboratory; ability to understand and follow procedures
Associate's degree in a technical field or direct experience working with laboratory test equipment.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
