Chipton-Ross is seeking a Specialist, Contracts Administrator for an opening in Orlando, FL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited general direction, independently determines approach to objectives demonstrating a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts and practices. Performs the following type of activities:
50% - Negotiates and administers relatively complex contracts.
10% - Evaluates the terms/conditions of contracts to assure they comply with client policy.
10% - Provides solutions to problems involving moderate complexity.
10% - Participates in management reviews of contracts. Conceives and plans projects involving the development of new approaches and methods to attain objectives.
5% - Execute contracts and certificates on behalf of client.
5% - Develops and recommends client policy on contract issue.
5% - Provides input to department objectives and long-range goals. Keeps current within area of specialty in support of project assignments.
5% - Represents the organization as the prime contact on assigned projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordinative activity across organizational lines.


REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience in the aerospace industry, working knowledge of contract laws and regulations including UCC, FAR, TINA, CAS, etc.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus, negotiation skills, and an ability to work effectively on teams.
Experience with international sales contracts and ability to understand written and oral communications in a foreign language are desired.


EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 10 years of directly related experience including experience negotiating and administering sales contracts with US Government and prime contractor customers (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
