Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Estimating & Pricing Specialist 3 for an opportunity in Long Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program. Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices. Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals. Develops estimating and pricing methods. Evaluates and develops business cases. Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.). Develops and maintains pricing models. Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements. Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals. Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery. Experience with estimating and pricing for US government proposals desirable with working knowledge of Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) compliance.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

10% -20% domestic travel could be required dependent on business need.

WORK HOURS: 6:00AM-3:00PM

The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

Potential for OT available

Position will allow for hybrid telecommute. Submitted candidate must be local to the area as the need to go onsite may arise. Remote option is at the discretion of the hiring manager and may change as business needs change, including hybrid or 100% onsite requirement.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
