Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in King Of Prussia, PA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for a Senior Software/Infrastructure Engineer w/ network configuration experience.
The Candidate’s primary responsibility will be software development for TTWCS network configuration.
The Candidate will develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
The Candidate will perform work without appreciable direction, They will exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results.
The Candidate will be responsible to develop preliminary and detailed software design products, Code & Unit Test products, perform CSCI Integration and Test for TTWCS tactical software applications. The candidate will design and develop applications which support and automate TTWCS system installation, configuration, and administration activities.
The Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong software development background
- Proficiency in network configuration and administration
-Proficiency with Linux OS
-Scripting Proficiency - Python, Shell Scripts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
-Agile software development/design experience
-Experience in Java or C++
- Proficiency with Software Configuration Management tools and processes
- Ability to create automation solutions for installation and configuration of networks.
-Configuration of COTS/GOTS/FOSS
-Scripting proficiency – Perl, SNMP
- Experience applying DISA STIGs for Network appliances
- Certification(s) in Cyber, Network, or System Administration such as Security+, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, etc.

EDUCATION:
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS

SHIFT:
4/10- 1st Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:
