Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Fort Worth, TX

Day-to-day activities will have this person investigating, seeking to understand and applying advanced development standards, processes, procedures, and tools. Additionally, the role will participate in all Agile ceremonies throughout each iteration and increment of the project. A minimal level of business acumen and/or customer-facing experience will be a plus.
The candidate will apply knowledge of computer hardware, software, architecture and systems thinking for critical business/mission applications. With a transparency mindset, the software engineer / developer will identify, record, and collaborate to correct errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, development techniques, and process controls.

Basic Qualifications :
• Experience using C++
• Experience with Linux development
• Experience with XML based open standards
• Agile Process Tools (e.g. Version One)
Desired skills :
• Experience using Java
• Agile Software Development
• Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Git)
• Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Embedded systems integration
• Requirements generation
• Systems interface development

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or other Science related discipline
