Chipton Ross is seeking a Philanthropy Specialist for an opening in Lewisville, TX

The Philanthropy Specialist will understand and support the company's mission, vision and values as well as the Philanthropy department's strategic focus. The Specialist is responsible for supporting the management and execution of the company's philanthropic associate engagement programs and plays a critical role in the departmental mission to make our brand and communities stronger through focused, creative and visible philanthropy. The position reports to Sr. Manager Corporate Programs

Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with internal partners to ensure participation, support and success of our philanthropic programs.
Build and manages relationships with key external stakeholders (non-profit organizations and partners) to ensure participation, support and success of our philanthropic initiatives).
Manage all internal communications to field, Stores and Home Office.
Develop appropriate reports, evaluations, and data gathering on programs, partnerships, strategies, messaging, lessons learned and successes.
Manage volunteer program activities and compliance.
Manage contributions and donated goods for established partners.
Stay in the know on all things as they relate to company's main area of focus.
Provide outside services support, where needed.
Participate in project work and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree required.
2-3 years experience in corporate philanthropy, communications, or nonprofit management.
Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility programs ideal.
Demonstrated interest in social, community and nonprofit issues.
Familiarity with nonprofit management and public sector organization preferred.
Keen sense and commitment to ethics, integrity, and diversity.
Strong ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
Prefer some public speaking experience.
Ability to lead small to medium-sized group discussions.
Ability to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
Good communications skills, written and verbal.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to liaise effectively across the organization and various departments

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm Possible remote opportunity for the right candidate.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
