Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Painter Level 2 for an opening in Chelmsford, MA.

SUMMARY:
This role works to effectively coat surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, conformal coat, iridate, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun. Other responsibilities include cleaning and preparation of surfaces before coating. May select and mix coating material and coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

May select and mixes coating material; coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks, and 3 years of experience. Spray painting experience. Ability to pass a respirator exam. Familiarity with ESD & FOD protection requirements. Ability to work under a microscope as required to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good eye/hand coordination. Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities. Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills
