Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant for an opening in Camden, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work cross functionally with Procurement, Project Managers, Receiving,
Quality and Corporate Shared Services to resolve purchase order,
material and pricing discrepancies.
• Ensuring vendors are paid according to negotiated payment terms
(troubleshooting any payment issues/delays, working with Corporate
Shared Services as needed).
• Enter Non-PO invoices into corporate procurement system for approval
and payment processing.
• Enter Purchase Order vouchers in local ERP as needed.
• Process weekly check runs in local ERP for review and approval and
ensure proper and sufficient documentation is attached to all
transactions/disbursements.
• Process and review all wire transfer payments for proper approval,
documentation and controls.
• Help support Accounts Payable month end close process.
• Assist with intercompany invoice processing and payment.
• Assist in various aspects of general accounting including journal entry
processing and account reconciliations.
• Comply with all SOX as well as internal corporate compliance controls
and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience with automated 3-way match
process.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
interact with internal customers and vendors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.

EDUCATION:
• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience with automated 3-way match
process.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
interact with internal customers and vendors.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.


DESIRED:
Experience with Ariba Procurement, SAP & Peoplesoft
• Strong analytical, financial and accounting skills
• Competence to balance multiple concurrent priorities
• Ability to work with limited supervision

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
