Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lead Guidance Navigation and Contro Eng 4 for an opening in Berkeley, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selected candidates will work a wide range of programs that will provide state of the art GN&C performance analysis and simulation solutions to our customers. In addition, there will be visibility across the enterprise into modern GN&C and simulation development methods.

Position Responsibilities:
Define Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), mission or trajectory requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from the system level to component level
Design, analyze and guide others in the development of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) systems, simulaions, models & tools
Lead trade studies and offer guidance and expertise to identify design solutions that meet program requirements
Lead design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
Work under minimal supervision.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX to model systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with simulation, system and component modeling
Experience with implementing algorithms in real time systems
Hardware in the Loop Simulator (HILS) experience
JAVa, GIT, Python & Visual studio experince

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
9+ years of experience in Guidance Navigation and Controls (GN&C).(7+ years of experience with a Master's degree or 4+ years of experience with a PhD)

WORK HOURS: 7:00AM-4:00PM
FULL-TIME

TRAVEL: YES
less than 5% travel

MISCELLANEOUS:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Role is on-site, candidate will need to be local to STL or willing to relocate at own expense
12 months possible extension or conversion to direct hire
