Chipton-Ross is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician for an opening in Pleasanton, CA.

The products we make are used by our customers to run PCR tests in medical and research labs.

Responsible for fulfilling manufacturing lab functions; image reviews, robotic equipment operation, loading unloading equipment and packaging products. Executes the daily production schedule for changeovers, reviews, or packaging using manual and automated processes. Follow standard operating procedures and good document practices working in a cleanroom environment. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. While performing the duties of this job working in a clean room environment, the employee is frequently exposed to various temperature conditions and the company provides the necessary PPE assigned to that task. SOP and JSA serve to guide in providing the necessary safety protection guidelines for employees that may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.

At least 1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to work individually and with a team to ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily. Will be required to work near or around moving mechanical parts.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED
(College degree is a plus)

3rd Shift - 10pm to 6:30am

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
