Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stockroom Material Handler for an opening in Tulsa, OK

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Stockroom Material Handler, reporting to the Supervisor Stockroom, this entry level position performs manual movement of material; in-bound, receiving, and inventory. (For example this position will move the raw materials, finished or semi-finished parts and sub-assemblies to certain stockroom location(s)). The Stockroom Material Handler will perform routine tasks such as moving and/or storing material (of all kinds) in proper location(s) as directed by the Stockroom Supervisor, or Senior Material Handler. This position may also be called on to help with the pulling of stored goods to fill kits.

This position will be aiding in the movement of construction materials on the manufacturing floor.
1. Helps maintain accurate receiving and issued parts.
2. Moves or transports material as directed.
1. Handle all in-bound, receiving and inventory parts.
2. Stores articles in identifiable locations (according to location information) such as in bins, on floor, or on shelves.
3. Helps with the methods of storage, identification, stock location and required space.
4. Assists with the disposing of used crates and boxes.
5. Pull kits and issue backorders as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience in material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks. Forklift operation will be approximately 10% of the job duties. Most items willbe moved using the pallet jacks. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. Requires basic reading, writing and arithmetic abilities and must have the ability to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English both orally and in writing with production as well as with other material/production control functions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

REASONING ABILITY
This position will work under close supervision receiving detail instruction on all assignments from the Supervisor or experienced Senior Material Handler. (Independent actions or decision making options are limited to few possibilities.)

Must be able to operate material handling equipment and/or perform some semi-heavy lifting to move material as required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One (1) year of related experience and/or training in inventory control/stockroom (receiving, storing and arranging, issuing and kitting of material) function related to the movement of inventory.
