Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager 3 for an opening in Huntsville, AL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain project plans for Missile Field expansion, including construction, Ground System unit installation and test, and formal delivery to Government customer.
Coordinate and integrate project schedule with external stakeholders and customer.
Coordinate with engineering and program management personnel to assemble and complete unit and subsystem data packages for formal delivery to customer.
Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
May lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management

PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in engineering project planning or project management
Experience using Microsoft Project

EDUCATION:
Accredited education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
