Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opening in Palm Beach, FL

This role involves primarily sustaining engineering for ocean engineering products and submersible vehicles. There will be considerable customer support to users in the field, occasional travel, various testing aspects of products, manufacturing support, obsolescence resolution. The engineer will be responsible for supporting the existing products and there may be some design upgrades as well.

This program requires broad reaching electrical support, including issue resolution, upgrades to hardware, proposal support, report writing, and interfacing with a wide variety of other teams and disciplines.

The position, located in Palm Beach Florida, requires working on-site for more than 50% of your time. Flexibility to support scheduled and occasionally unscheduled weekend and off-shift hour as well as travel for field support as needed
Candidate must be location to Palm Beach, FL and available to work onsite as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with standard laboratory tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, analyzers, and similar tools is required.
-Ability to diagnose and solve a variety of electrically related problems and document the testing processes and results.
-Excellent communication skills to interface with peers, supervisors, and on-site customer personnel.

Desired skills:
-Design experience in analog or digital or power electronics.
-Experienced with unmanned or remotely operated underwater vehicle design.
-Experience with AutoCAD, Zuken, SPICE and other electrical computer aided design tool.

BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS

4/10- 1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
