Chipton Ross is seeking a Help Desk Support II for an opening in Santa Rosa, CA

Under the guidance of the IT Director, provide first and second tier technical support of information technology systems, production, office staff and visitors. Install, maintain and troubleshoot workstations, printers, desktop software and other systems. Build, deploy and support PCs running Windows 10 and business software applications for end users.
Rollout and manage software updates including, but not limited to, Catia, Autodesk and Windows updates
Log all IT issues and resolutions including the creation and maintenance of clear, readable and accurate technical documentation
Train and mentor end users on the proper usage of company computers, internet, intranet and other resources. Help maintain procedural documentation and training materials that illustrate to end-users the basic operation of systems and how to avoid virus infections or security issues
Sizing and ordering Dell computers for various uses
Management of IT stockroom
Track, support and license usage
Testing and research technology to ensure the effective implementation and function of new technologies within the current and future IT infrastructure

Experience Required
Viable candidates must have a solid track record as a self-starter and someone who has been successful remotely supporting IT operations in multiple sites.
Excellent customer service skills; including patience and concern for client issues
Ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users
Must have 3+ years direct hands on experience building, deploying and supporting PC's utilizing the Windows 10 operating systems in a networked environment
Excellent analytical skills to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of hardware and software issues. Must be able to diagnose and resolve PC issues to minimize the impact on end users.
Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and basic administration
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related network services (i.e., DNS, VPN, DHCP, etc.)
Passionate about technology and customer service. Interest in learning and growing IT career

Bonus Qualifications (these are not required but having them will increase your chances of getting an interview if you meet all of the Required Experience):
A+, Microsoft or other certifications
Manufacturing IT support experience
Ability to speak/write/communicate in Spanish and/or French
Knowledge of iPhones
