Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Operator II for an opening in Skaneateles, NY.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
You must have good mechanical dexterity/eyesight, be able to read, write and use basic math; and maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks. Applicant should possess the ability to be able to adapt to a changing work environment such as increased automation, change in production methods or sequences and rotation among workstations. You must be able to work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities. You may be requested to work overtime, as needed. Employee will utilize downtime properly, Leaves work area when appropriate, does not abuse bathroom breaks and does not wander. Maintains and displays strong attendance habits by being present and on time


REQUIREMENTS:
Computer Literate; 1-3 year metals manufacturing preferred. Proficient in verbal and written communication Must have a positive attitude while maintaining flexibility. Conscientious, accurate, and detailed-oriented regarding work output PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The inability to perform any of the following physical requirements does not preclude an applicant from consideration unless, following an individualized analysis, it is determined that the physical requirement is an essential job function and the applicant is unable to perform such function with or without reasonable accommodation While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk and hear Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus bility to use and inspect through a microscope for long period of time

EDUCATION:
A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

SHIFT:
3rd shift, full time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
