Chipton-Ross is seeking two Quality Inspector 3's for an opportunity in McClellan, CA.

Performs required inspections using general mechanical inspection tools and equipment to ensure conformance with the quality requirements. This job reports to the Quality Manager and works under general supervision. Visually inspects products that conform to standardized Company and industry policies, practices, procedures and specifications.

High School and 3-4 years additional education or experience or AA.
Works from drawings, diagrams, statements of work, purchase orders, inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify tests in accordance with quality processes and procedures. This job has decision-making responsibilities with regard to the acceptance or rejection of parts or products; they include: manufactured parts, boards, chassis, assemblies, cables and materials in various configurations.
Working inspection knowledge of mechanical and machine/fabrication of parts and components with critical tolerances to in-process functional, final product reviews and receiving inspection.
The quality Inspector should have working knowledge of general inspection tools; microscopes, cameras, dimensional tools and equipment including: Gages, calipers, coordinate measurement machines (CMM) and Optical Comparators. Inspector should have experience in a high energy /fast paced ESD/FOD controlled, cross-functional manufacturing environment with good computer and communication skills.

AS9100, ESD/FOD, IPC-610, Solumina, Windchill, SAP experience, CMM and receiving inspection.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
