Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Publication Delivery Specialist B for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates procurement actions for technical publications production services
Responds to internal and external customer queries concerning products and services provided
Gathers complete data to support production and delivery of a variety of end product(s).
Ensures compliance with contractual and quality standards for in house and vendor supplied publications.
Produces final products in digital format or other formats per contract requirements.
Manages printing activities for paper manuals.
Prepares and compiles final technical end-products for delivery.
Monitors and complies with program directives, sales orders, or other requests to ensure external customer contractual agreements are met.
Coordinates with internal customers to resolve post-delivery issues.
Maintains delivery record data files; receives, files and retains reproducible; maintains specific areas of a general technical data library.
Be able to work under limited supervision.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have basic computer skills including:
Experienced in MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro for manipulating, editing and cropping PDF files.
Experienced with producing CD-ROM disks for technical data deliveries
Possess server file management skills for digital technical data deliveries
Understand basic email and internet operations including generating hyperlinks
Troubleshooting basic computer problems (print errors, file management, etc.)
Ability to multi-task; to be able to move between projects and keep priorities and requirements straight
Proofreading skills including exceptional attention to detail
Be able to lift 35 pound filled shipping boxes

PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent work experience
Ability to interpret contract requirements for deliverables
2 years’ experience with project coordination
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to execute and update computer program scripts

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
