Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software V&V Engineer for an opening in Owego, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities such as design, development, documentation and test..
In depth understanding of DO-178C Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification is required.
Experience with DO-178C Software Stages of Involvement (SOI) is desired.
This SOI experience may be related to preparation of material for audit, being a participant in an audit or having been part of the certification authority.
Broader DO-178B/C experience with software planning and testing would also be beneficial.
Additional supplemental experience associated with DO-254 Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware, CAST-32A Multicore Processors and DO-297 Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Development Guidance and Certification Considerations would also be beneficial.
Looking for a candidate familiar with DO-178C Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.
Particularly looking for a candidate with experience participation in the Stages of Involvement (SOI) that support certification.
