Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for an opening in Greenville, SC

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. This position is for F-16 depot program and a toolbox is required.

REQUIREMENTS:
Position REQUIRES a Tool box!
Desired Skills
, F-16 and C-5 aircraft installation experience to include wire harness installation and check out procedures.
- Ability to interpret installation drawings, install and route electrical cable assemblies, perform multiple termination processes and perform continuity checks in accordance with standard processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.
- Ability to identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown or engineering documentation and technical orders.

HS/GED

SHIFT:
4/10-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
