Chipton-Ross is seeking a SW Test Programmer 2 for an opportunity in Orlando, FL.
We are looking for experienced software developers or testers to support development of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Ground Station system and network management software, the SATCOM operator’s interface that enables mission planning and monitoring & control of SATCOM ground station equipment. This software interfaces with SATCOM receiver control equipment, networking equipment, and other external systems, including communication from high-side to low-side across a cross domain solution (CDS).

College degree not required, but BS degree in STEM is preferred.
Significant experience writing unit tests and/or integration tests required.
Proficient with Python
Experience with web application test automation (Selenium preferred)
Experience with Git or similar SCM
Understands Multi-Threaded/Asynchronous Operations and web-based RESTful applications
Experience performing in software development teams using Agile DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools
Collaborates well with others
Displays good written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Redux, Akka.NET, and Bootstrap 4
Experience with SQL (PostgresSQL back end)
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
High school diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
