- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded S/W Engineer Level 2 for an opening in Orlando, FL.
Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded real-time software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++ IEEE 11 or later. The candidate will need experience in Linux and/or Windows. The candidate will need to understand tasks associated with full life-cycle development. Depending on the development phase of the program, it is expected that the candidate will gain experience in embedded real-time development, simulation development, hardware to software integration, multi-core / multi-threaded programming, and graphical interfaces.
The candidate is expected to be in an early career phase with skills equivalent to a person with 2-5 years of experience. ++ 11 or greater Full software life-cycle development Software configuration management / version control Software issue tracking.
Data Distribution Service (DDS) Embedded real-time. C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS). Git - source code versioning. Graphical User Interface (GUI) development. Hardware/software integration. Jira - issue tracking and agile project management. Linux. Multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming. t - GUI development tool. Simulation development experience. Visual Studio. Windows
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field with significant software development experience
