Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Repair Mod Technician for an opening in Miami, FL.
•Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training device;
•Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted equipment.
•Assist with repair and test, install, configure, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software;
•Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components;
•Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators;
•Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment;
•Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components;
•Work under limited supervision
•5+ years' experience in the field of simulation, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or trainers
•5+ years' experience in testing flight critical systems via simulators and hardware-in-the-loop environment
•5+ years' experience with electronic/electrical systems
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience in maintaining CAE, L3, TRU, and FSI Full Flight Simulators;
•Experience in assisting in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
Accredited basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
