Chipton-Ross is seeking an SOX Analyst II (Remote) for an opening in Remote, US

The Analyst, IT General Controls will report to the Manager of IT General Controls. In this role, you must have a strong understanding of SOX controls. You will provide leadership for the day-to-day operations for IT Compliance activities, throughout the IT organization, including the I.T. Outsource contractors to ensure compliance activities are moving forward with attention to detail. Coordinate audit activities with internal and external resources and tracking of current controls to include key metrics for tracking and reporting purposes. Establish internal dashboard to report 'at-a-glance' audit status by SOX control or other IT audits. The Analyst, IT Compliance function works with all levels of management and the IT Outsourcer to ensure completeness, accuracy and closure for all audit items.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 65% - Coordinate, track and report on IT audit-related activity, from initiation, through completion of audits, internal and external. Execute IT general controls and maintain a working schedule with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activities. Drive toward closure, completeness and accuracy for all audit responses, with efficiency and time-management improvements as momentum increases throughout the audit cycle. Identify process improvements, training opportunities, automation opportunities, update documentation, other responsibilities as they arise during the audit cycle.
5% - Provide direction, mentoring and coaching to team members, IT staff members and IT outsource providers with an emphasis on IT SOX controls 10% - Provide backup support for Release Management and Change Control activities and oversight during peak periods.
10% - Implement an IT Compliance Education and Training program for AR and IT outsource staff, related to compliance. Work with AR Training Coordinator to implement the training in approved AR training software. Provide live training and education as-needed. Host ongoing conference calls between key IT groups to increase collaboration and teamwork.
5% - Provide administrative support for information/evidence request fulfillment as required.
5% - Personal growth and ongoing education: Demonstrate commitment to continuous process improvement and learning.

At least 5 years of IT compliance or operational IT experience with a special emphasis around IT SOX controls CISA, CISM or CISP certification desired.
At least 3 years of experience with project planning, technical/data analysis and client management.
Candidate must possess strong business acumen at the strategic and tactical level. Rigorous attention to detail is a must along with the ability to recognize areas for process improvement.
Effective written/verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Competence in working with a broad range of stakeholders of various seniority levels across diverse business functions and/or units.
Travel may be required.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
