Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 6 for an opening, onsite in Kent, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Leads analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Leads, develops designs and conducts research that results in new requirements management methodologies or result in unique approaches that mitigate assessment/review findings. Creates and implements strategic approaches for program and business area decisions.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Critical Communication experience, both written and verbal, with a comfort in public speaking and frequent interactions with executive-level management
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively and communicating clearly
• Experience using strategic and communicating at senior management levels
• Experience with spacecraft systems integration and testing
• Experience in team building, leading cross-functional teams, motivating and engaging team member, and inspiring work groups through daily interactions

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's and 20 or more years' experience, Master's with 18 or more years' experience or PhD with 15 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

1st Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:
