Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Distribution Handling Support 2 for an opportunity in Moss Point, MS.
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment. Shipping, Receiving material, Inventory
Control and Kitting. Will need to be able to operate a forklift or be willing to be trained to operate a forklift / reach lift.
High school diploma and 1-3 years of experience.
General warehouse duties / Operating pallet Jacks. Must have a high attention to detail and Safety minded.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs
Fork lift Experience and knowledge of SAP a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
School must be accredited.
4/10 This position is a day position but must be willing to work second shift if needed. Day shift hours are 0600 to 1630 Monday thru Thursday. Second Shift hours are currently 1200 to 2240
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
