Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Quality Architect (Mission Accelerator) for a remote opening.

Defines requirements and designs and verifies robust architecture, data and information management systems and components. Establishes design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements. Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle. Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models. Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Performs trade-off analyses. Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Drafts data and information management products and service standards. Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle. Contributes to architecture and data/information management standards and strategies.

Duties will include defining the Mission Accelerator quality assurance strategy, developing implementation plans and overseeing the execution of that strategy, defining quality assurance technologies, tools, systems, processes, and operations for the Mission Accelerator development teams, developing software quality standards and common quality solutions, and overseeing the execution of the MA quality assurance activities.
Design a holistic and cohesive quality assurance strategy for BGS Government Services digital and analytics portfolio of capabilities and services
Design and oversee development of an effective Mission Accelerator quality assurance solution to ensure consistent and robust software and solutions are being produced and delivered.
Oversee resources tasked with building out Mission Accelerator quality assurance solutions, systems, and services.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, subject matter experts, including Mission Accelerator chief architect, software engineers, database administrators, to determine project quality assurance requirements and capabilities, establish quality assurance development and implementation timelines, and insure adherence to defined quality assurance standards.
Assess quality assurance solutions to ensure they comply with cybersecurity requirements.
Prepare status reports, metrics, and documentation on the design, architecture, and health of the Mission Accelerator quality assurance program.
Recommend solutions and evaluate tools to enhance and/or improve the effectiveness of the Mission Accelerator quality assurance capabilities.

5 or more years’ experience with modern software quality assurance architectures, technologies, systems, standards and processes

1 or more years’ experience with development of software supporting Government or Military customers
1 or more years' experience with DEVSECOPs technologies and practices

Accredited Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Anticipate 10% travel whether remote or onsite.

WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
