Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer 5 for an opening in Everett, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops requirement management processes and tools. Investigates actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement. Performs and documents design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools and guides less experienced engineers in performance of the designs. Develops certification criteria and methods with regulatory agencies. Leads, organizes and resolves cross-divisional problems to provide technical assistance to internal/external customers. Assures cost, time effective, creative solutions and disposition of issues to assure customer satisfaction. Performs a wide variety of complex trades studies to meet program requirements. Works under consultative direction.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Advanced Math & System Model
• Engr Knowledge/Comprehension
• Flight Test
• GNC Design and Integration
• Government Laws/Regulations

EDUCATION:
Accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
