Chipton-Ross is seeking two Maintenance Trainer 3's for an opportunity in Elkridge, MD.

We are looking for motivated individuals to fill the role of a Product Trainer. The Product Trainer fulfills customer training requirements for electronic systems, sensors, and radars. Duties for the Product Trainer include but are not be limited to:
• Develops/updates training curriculum in accordance with Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training and military training standards:
o Training Program Plan
o Job Task Analysis
o Curriculum Outline of Instruction
o Lesson Plans
o Test Package
o Trainee Guides
o Job Aids
• Conducts In-Process Reviews
• Becomes proficient with system operation and maintenance tasks
• Conducts classroom and hands-on training for customer operators and maintainers
• Develops Trainee and Training Course Completion Data
• Travels as necessary (estimated to be up to 25% of the time) to support and conduct training activities
• Interfaces effectively with program and customer personnel to accomplish training tasks
• Supports other program tasks when not performing training tasks

Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience developing technical training curricula and conducting technical training classes. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with maintenance and/or operation of electronic systems, sensors, and radars
• Successful completion of military curriculum developer courses, military formal school instructor course, or equivalent industry-recognized technical training instructor program
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in implementation of MIL-PRF-29612 Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach to Training, Education
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an instructor of military electronic systems maintainers and/or operators
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Able and willing to perform physically demanding hands-on training tasks in challenging environmental conditions
• Able and willing to travel to CONUS, OCONUS, and foreign destinations in support of training tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience as an electronic systems, sensors, or radar crew chief or maintenance chief, or as an operator team leader
• Experience in one of the following (or similar) military career fields:
o MOS 0842 Field Artillery Radar Operator
o MOS 2887 Artillery Electronics Technician
o MOS 5948 Aviation Radar Technician
o AFSC 3D1X5 Ground Radar Systems Technicians
o AFSC 13B3D Commander, Director of Operations, Mission Crew Commander, Senior Director, Air Surveillance Officer
o AFSC 1C591/00 Battle Staff Coordinator
o AFSC 1C571 Air Surveillance Technician
o AFSC 1C5X1 Weapons Director, Electronic Protection Technician, Interface Control Technician, Data Systems Technician, Surveillance Technician
o NSI 009-24 Authorization, Control, Isolation, Blanking, and Tagging Requirements
o NSI 009-73 Shipboard Electrical/Electronic/Fiber Optic Cable Remove, Relocate, Repair and Install
• US military training development and instructor experience
• BS in a STEM field
• SCORM courseware development, and courseware media development (graphics/audio/HTML5)

5/40 workweek.
