Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for an opening in Owego, NY, Remote Owego, NY (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for candidates that are local to Owego, NY. These positions will require the contractors to be on site at least 50% of the time.
Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or other electrical components.
Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met.
Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
Specifically looking for experience in reviewing, writing and executing test procedures on custom built hardware via analysis, demonstration or test.
Familiarity with DOORS is desired.
Looking for engineers with experience in the DO-254 and/or developing test procedures and design verification testing. (Desired, but not required)

EDUCATION:
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS

SHIFT:
4/10-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
