Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Associate Product Manager for a remote opening.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Product Manager will provide leadership and execution for products in our genomics assay business, with a focus on new product development. This person will develop and assist with managing a portfolio of on-market and new products. S/he will be responsible for assisting the development of product strategy, product definition, positioning, and product life-cycle management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing product requirements, marketing, and launch plans, working with product development teams, managing inventory, pricing, managing customer project scopes & expectations, and customer communications. This position interacts with varying levels of internal and external personnel and will require direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach. Manages worldwide supply, demand, revenue, margin and pricing for product portfolio. Updates and presents revenue & forecasts regularly to management, finance, and manufacturing teams. Participates in new product development teams, develops customer & product requirements, customer communications, and competitive strategy. Identifies opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation. Drives new product development cycle from concept through commercialization, including the voice of customer research, the definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, manage product launches and sales training. Works collaboratively with other members of cross-functional teams to meet milestones, drive growth for the product line, and contribution to the overall business segment.

REQUIREMENTS:
0-3 years' experience in Product Management or Marketing. Experience with life science and/or molecular diagnostics systems comprising instrument, software and consumables. Experience with financial modeling and data analysis skills. Ability to forecast and track results. Proven project management and organizational skills. Strong ability to prioritize effectively. Exceptional problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to gain consensus and facilitate decision making within a matrix environment. Track record of presenting high-level information to multiple audiences, including scientists, executives and non-scientific personnel. Is customer-centric and keenly aware of markets, trends and competitors. Is authentic, transparent and leads by example, holding self and others accountable.

EDUCATIOIN:
Accredited Bachelor's degree required.
Accredited Master's Degree preferred.

Days

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
