Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opening in Owego, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for an Electrical Engineer with 2 or more years of experience and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree, or an individual who is just starting out with a relevant Master’s Degree, who is looking for an opportunity to do Circuit Card digital design- from requirements, to design, to integration, to delivery.
Work to involve production engineering support, test development, and hardware integration activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications:
• Skilled troubleshooter and problem solver
• Fast learner
• Effective organizer and communicator
• Experience with common engineering laboratory test equipment including oscilloscope, power supply, and digital multi-meter
Desired Skills:
• Experience creating schematics and physical layout of circuit card design (board layout)
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies
• Digital Signal Processing experience/coursework
• DoD Customer Experience

EDUCATION:
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS

SHIFT:
4/10-1st Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
