Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer III for an opening in Eugene, OR.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform maintenance of software for the company's cell analysis instruments. Development and support of instrument control software and firmware. Interact with biologists to translate scientific research needs into instrument user stories and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years with C/C++. Solid understanding of computer architecture and low-level design. Experienced with State Machines. Comfortable with Product Development Life Cycle and agile/SCRUM. Proficient with Git. Familiarity with using an Oscilloscope. Experience with Firmware Debugging using JTAG. bility to engage in clear written and verbal communication. Comfortable with giving and receiving mentorship. Exceptionally detail oriented.

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS/BA Degree, Engineering or Technical Field preferred

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
M-F 8AM-5PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
