- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Payroll Analyst for an opening in Pittsburgh, PA.
This team completes all tasks associated with terminations (including deceased employees), new hires, retro wage payments, manual check requests, and monitoring the repayments made due to overpayments utilizing ADP PayForce, ADP Smart Compliance, Workday, and Bank of America on-line website.
Process repayment and correction of wages due to overpayment of wages to employees. Process stop payments and reissue of funds to employees. Investigate and reissue stale dated checks. Run and save various payroll reports. Perform other duties as assigned
Strong analytical skills. Advanced knowledge of system/PC applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to be detail oriented, accurate and have effective communication skill. Experience maintaining confidentiality and working in a deadline-driven environment.
Prior experience with ADP systems and/or Workday. CPP certification.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED+ 5 years experience in Payroll Department
Accredited Associate degree + 2 years experience in Payroll Department
Accredited Bachelors degree in Accounting, HR or Finance preferred.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
