Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an opening in Greenville, SC

This position is in the F-16 Production Engineering team as a Manufacturing Test Engineer. Responsibilities include but not limited to: write/revise F-16 aircraft system/component test procedures, provide on aircraft testing and troubleshooting support for aircraft systems tested on the production line and flight line, develop test equipment and provide test equipment designs, develop, provide functional test regression requirements for aircraft Quality Assurance Report (QAR) activity and program software for automated test equipment. Candidate will work with Systems Engineering to ensure that engineering requirements are adequately verified during the production functional test process. Candidate must be willing to work odd shifts and rotate weekends to support F-16 production as needed.

On-aircraft experience in testing and troubleshooting aircraft avionics and air vehicle system problems
- Experience working with aircraft wiring diagrams and drawings
- Experience working with Hydraulic, Fuel, Landing Gear, Jet Fuel Starter, and Engine Systems
Desired skills :
- Experience writing test documents
- Knowledge of F-16 systems-Familiar with test equipment design and applications
- Prior service or field experience a bonus
- Experience with Systems Engineering and Production Operations to quantify, validate and coordinate requirements-Software programming
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- CATIA V5 Experience
- Experience with FAC Test, Electrical, Flight Controls and Instrument Systems
- Experience working with Avionics / Displays, JHMCS, EW / CM, RADAR, and PMD / Mission Planning

BS+0-2 YRS

4/10-2nd Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
