- Chipton-Ross is seeking an A/R Billing Clerk for contract opportunity in Sherman Oaks, CA.
The Billing Clerk is part of a team of 3 to 4 Billing Clerks. Supervised by the Billing Manager, and collectively responsible for processing invoices billed to customers, ensuring proper payment application, collection, and data entry in an accurate, efficient manner.
Must have software experience with:
Enter daily accounts receivable transactions utilizing the Company's Workflow System (L2)
Make collection calls and ensure timely application of cash receipts
Process Payments, verify discrepancies, and resolve customer billing issues as they arise
Partner with the Inside Sales Department on the weekly Customer Service Cancellation List
Maintain monthly Declined Credit Card list by collecting payments, or pausing service for unpaid accounts
1+ years of AP/AR experience
Understanding of basic Bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable principles
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong MS Office skills and mathematically savvy
Excellent data entry skills in a fast paced, high volume accounting environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to research and resolve problems with minimal information
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
1st/Full Time8:00-5:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
