Chipton-Ross is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator for an opening in Rockwall, TX
The Linux Systems Administrator analyzes and resolves problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. Installs, configures, and maintains Linux operating systems. Being a Linux Systems Administrator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Monitors systems performance and ensures compliance with security standards. In addition, Linux Systems Administrator may also require a Linux certification such as Red Hat.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience Linux
• Red Hat, CompTIA or Linux+ certification required
• Capable of security auditing and hardening of Linux systems
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers
Associates Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
5/40- 1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
