Chipton-Ross is seeking four Bonder Metal or Composite 2's for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
Determines from blueprints, engineering data, nonconformance records, and shop orders the work methods and sequence of operations necessary to lay up laminates on molds ranging from developmental to production, to fabricate. Assemble first article composite parts, skins, and assemblies having deep draws, compound and reverse contours and critical transition areas. Manufacturing methods and sequences may vary considerably from one lay-up to another and, in some instances, required information is not always complete and readily available. Alternate methods may be required in certain applications.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3.5 years of Lamination experience, preferably in an aerospace environment. Must be able to comprehend and demonstrate use of Blue Prints, Process Specifications, Manufacturing Work Instructions and inspection hand tools. Must be able to laminate complex parts with minimal work instructions using various pre-preg / wet layup materials. Prefer leadership experience and ability to train and assist lower classification workers.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
