Chipton Ross is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for an opening in Red Oak, TX.


Function: Perform a variety of duties of a training nature in assigned Maintenance area.
" Under instruction of a higher classified Maintenance personnel or supervisor, perform a variety of maintenance duties to acquire sufficient skill to qualify for the Maintenance Spec. classification. Perform other duties as assigned. Keep own work area clean and orderly. Refer any problems to higher classification Maintenance personnel or Supervisor.
" Must also be able to perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine, and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
" Makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, battery operated vehicles, and equipment.
" Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.
" Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
" Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
Job Knowledge and Educational Requirements:
" Job knowledge requires vocational or similar training, including basic shop math to aid in the interpretation and the utilization of data from engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures.
" Basic knowledge of personal computers, including operating systems and file management is required.
" High school diploma or GED, plus trades training.
2-years of related experience.
General Physical Requirements:
* Lifting, climbing, grasping holding, standing, bending, and stooping

Work Schedule
Friday, Saturday and Sundays 40+ hours per week

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
