Chipton-Ross is seeking a Help Desk Technical Support 1 - Virtual for a Remote opportunity.

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Associate’s Degree and 0 years of experience. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associate's Degree.
• Prior Service Desk Support Experience
• Good Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite would be a plus
• To Record, maintains and updates records in our ticketing system. Perform quick analysis of the issue, document and assist with corrective action to restore functionality, if possible.
• Flexible and available- The Service Desk provides 7x24x365 support including weekends and holidays.
• Great Communication and Typing skills
• Great customer service skills including soft skills they are essential (ability to adjust and/or calm difficult customers)

AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline is required.
School must be accredited.

1st Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm, Some weekends once fully trained once a month or bi-monthly
100% remote for Local and Non-Local; If local, it is expected to come onsite on Day 1 for a meet and greet and to pick up equipment

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
