- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist for a contract remote opportunity
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Product Compliance Specialist is responsible for evaluating, tracking and documenting compliance to global regulations. Work with our Quality, Operations, R&D, and supply chain groups to document compliance with applicable compliance regulations Review part and assemblies identified in product Bills of Material (BOMs); identify and contact suppliers for REACH compliance statements. Establish technical files for RoHS3 Collect Safety Data Sheets Ensure labeling meets global regulations (i.e. China labeling) Collect compliance data on international compliance requirements Write and process Engineering Change Orders and revise the updated component specification sheets.
REQUIREMENTS:
2yrs experience with education in electrical engineering or 3+ for other STEM backgrounds.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Days Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen check. Must clear prior to start date.
