Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engine System Design Engineer for an opening in Canoga Park, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Performs engine system level design tasks for Energy Generation System.
-Primary duties include working within an integrated product team (IPT) environment to design/revise engine system components utilizing PTC CREO5 3D CAD software, coordinating analysis support and releasing drawings/models with minimal supervision.
-Additional duties may include in-house/vendor fabrication and test support as needed.


REQUIREMENTS:
-CREO5 3D CAD modeling skills with technical product design experience in liquid rocket/aerospace systems.
-Knowledge of geometric tolerancing & dimensioning, machining and fabrication processes.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree is preferable.

SHIFT:
9/80

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
