Chipton-Ross is seeking a Business Development Representative for an opening in Los Angeles, CA


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and attending relevant trade shows
Meet and/or exceed sales objectives by promoting Tyko Sign Group's core solutions and services to developers, architects, general contractors, and corporate buyers
Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the sales cycles
Assist with new marketing initiatives and collateral as necessary (case studies, presentations, brochures)
Match client needs and future growth plans with Tyko's end-to-end signage solutions
Consistently seek product knowledge and new technology through vendor trainings, industry trade shows and publications, and asking questions
Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss active opportunities and strategic ways to grow pipeline
Qualify leads and maintain organized record of opportunities and contacts in database
Demonstrate dedication, ability to take ownership, and willingness to learn.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1-2 years experience with sales & marketing skills
Effective and professional communication skills
Highly motivated to attract new business
Team-oriented mentality while being a strong individual contributor
Professional presentation skills
Knowledge of signage industry, products and processes preferred
Proficient using Microsoft Office applications
Be honest, respectful, and trustworthy

PREFERRED
Preferred candidate comes from the signage world but we are open to the all candidates that come from "custom made-to-order manufacturing" products - signage, furniture, architectural facades, 3D printed goods, awnings, etc.
