Chipton-Ross is seeking an A&P Mechanic for an opening in North Charleston, SC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing. Performs rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery. FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required. Employees in this classification may exercise duties and privileges granted under that certificate.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A&P License Required.
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience on 787 Program preferred.
EDUCATION:
Accredited basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
1st Shift
Must be available to work 1,2,3 shift as business needs change
Typical shift times:
1st: 5:30am- 2pm
2nd: 2:30am-11pm
3rd: 11pm-6amEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
