Chipton-Ross is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer for an opening in Remote, US

The Chief Data & Analytics Office Full Stack Development team supports a number of different web applications across client, as well as a primary application that combines multiple big data sources into one place for ease of use and access for end users. Applications are built using a stack including Kotlin, JavaScript (Reactjs), Python, Spring, and MySQL and are hosted on Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Tanzu. This individual will be responsible for developing, modifying, testing, deploying and maintaining web applications in support of the CDAO and other key partners. Day to day activities will include working with team members on a wide array of web application development initiatives, projects, and tool suites.

Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in the below:
Demonstrated experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing technology like Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, or others
Javascript, including specifically Reactjs
Experience with Java or Kotlin
Experience with SQL (modifying existing queries, writing simple new queries)
Demonstrated experience developing RESTful web services & APIs
Demonstrated experience in front & backend application development
Desired Skills:
Python experience desired, not required
Prior experience with Kotlin desired, not required
Experience with Git-based version control or other types of version control
Experience with other JavaScript front end frameworks and libraries (Angular, Vue.js, Material UI)
Any amount of experience with Paired Programming
Prior experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry / Tanzu highly desired
Familiarity with Agile methodology and SAFe
Prior experience with MySQL databases



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
