Chipton-Ross is seeking three Tooling Design Engineers for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Gilbert, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is defined as a Mechanical Engineer, Tooling Design Engineer. Tooling is used to support the integration, test and launch of spacecraft. The candidate will support the design modeling and drawing efforts utilizing Creo. In particular, the Engineer will create or update layout drawings, fabrication drawings and engineering change orders, give design review presentations and perform some fundamental types of analysis (e.g. strength of materials).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area and 10 years of related experience
• At least 7 years’ experience with design modeling and drawing efforts using 3-D modeling tools

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek. This position is REMOTE and offers work from home flexibility, but candidate must be available to report onsite to Gilbert, AZ as needed or in the event a hybrid schedule is requested.
The first 3-4 weeks will be 100% on-site.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
