Chipton-Ross is seeking a Electrical Engineer 4 for an opening in El Segundo, CA.
This role will be 100% onsite.
•Develop and validate requirements for automated test systems of communication, satellite, sensor, and other space-based systems and components.
•Develop architecture to integrate complex systems and components.
•Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict component and system performance.
•Define and conduct critical tests to validate performance.
•Manage appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance.
•Provide support to products throughout their lifecycle.
•Support project management by providing coordinating development of work statement, budget, schedule and conducting appropriate reviews.
•Experience developing system block diagrams, RF gain budgets, trade studies, and interconnect diagrams
•Experience with satellite or test system design, performance metrics, and requirement verification
•Experience troubleshooting RF test systems
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience developing requirements
•Experience with mentoring, coaching, and guiding junior engineers
•Experience with model based development tools
Accredited Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
