Chipton-Ross is seeking a Training Device Technician 2 for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the repair, test, installation, configuration, upgrade and modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software. Performs general pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices. Orders, ships and receives parts and components. Assists in troubleshooting to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Works under general supervision.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• 1. Hardware troubleshooting
• 2. Software Loading
• 3. Preventive maintenance
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
IT experience
Simulator experience a plus
Avionics experience a plus
EDUCATION:
Accredited education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

MISCELLANEOUS:
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
